Thank you for your great video. I’m interested in the Z50 system as an alternative to my current D7000 and multiple DX lenses. I will still keep my FX system based around the D750 but I have not used either system a great deal in recent months due to weight. This is where the Z50 should help me. Most shots I’ve taken over the last two months have been with an old iPhone, this tells me that weight and bulk are important for everyday shooting. So, in short, Im going to trade in my DX for Z50, keep the FX for occasional serious work and upgrade to an iPhone 11 Pro. What do you guys think?

I have a D3500 and i love it, I couldn’t choose between the D3500 and D5600 but I went for the 3500 because it has the best battery life of all cameras I’ve ever seen from Canon and Nikon

Slight correction on the D7500, Nikon actually used a carbon fibre frame instead of a magnesium one to save a few Lbs. I have one and its such a wonderful piece of kit

As a wildlife photographer the “eye detection” would be a tremendous plus but I think the system is treating the eye merely as a subset of face detection and therefore will not focus on say a tiger’s eye. Has anyone experience of this?

Going from a d330p to the z50 after researching a ton of stuff between the z50 and the d7500. What ultimately sold me was I could get a package with 2 of the kit lenses and the FTZ adapter for the same price as the d7500 with 1 lens.

My first ever proper camera that I bought is a mirrorless Sony A6400. Never used a DSLR. As a newbie I have taken close to 400-500 shots with my Sony and I can only count 2 shots which were out of focus one of which was not even by me. So I guess mirrorless focusing system has gotton pretty good. I guess it would be hard for me to take good photos with a DSLR.

I bought a Nikon 7500 in December and all it’s done is make me realize I should have bought a mirrorless camera. It now takes fours steps (lens cap, power, rotate lens, Liveview) to get the camera to the point that took only two steps (lens cap, power) with my Sony a6000. All I had to do was turn on my Sony Powershot with it’s automatic lens cap.
