the nikon looks beautiful like a real camera the sony looks like some thing you take photos with
Which Canon camera were used to film this video?
What lens is on the Nikon?
What was the lens on your Canon Eos R to film this?
I chose a nikon d810. My battery hasnt went dead on me during a shoot yet. The main determining factor was the price of new glass, battery life, and the optical viewfinder. Theres a bit of lag in the digital viewfinder and I feel it takes away from knowing what kind of photos you will get with your settings.
I just moved to Sony. I’ve been using Nikon for 20 or so years. I just got sick of Nikon always seeming half of a step behind.
I get that they want to be the affordable pro camera. I just think they’ve stumbled a bit recently.
Loving the Sony. The glass is a lot more expensive but it looks great.
I am grateful to you that you made me discover the Nikon D7200 that I bought before you changed your sponsor to Sony. I would not change my D7200 for anything!! (If I had 2500$ to burn I would go for the D780 of course…).
Landscape?
I see you put picture equally the same and that maybe so, but, didn’t you say the pixel shift was not good for landscape photography? If so, that’s a Big deal for anyone shooting landscapes. Why did you leave that out in your video?
Seriously image quality better than Nikon, I can give AF to Sony but image quality.. Naah 🙁
I think chelsea nailed it on the head with the autofocus: wildlife to dslr, portraits to sony. and as far as stabilization goes: lens stabilization is way better. if you are shooting over 1/500, ibis will soften your images which is what i think chelsea was experiencing. this basically just makes ibis good for prime lenses in low light.
I think you guys are the best and always informative 🙂
1:28 The sexiest delivery of the word Nikon (not Nyekon) ever 😍
Pentax rules!
Boohoooo my Nikon lost (by a tiny tiny margin) ……but it’s way easier to say….so I’m happy
It’s all about the lenses…and because there are so many for Nikon you can get incredible prices 😀
The range of lenses for the Sony now is wayyy improved.
I will keep my D850, no doubt about it
“huevos” are eggs. I think Tony means cojones …. Fascinating comparison!
Which is better for videography
