And landscape??
Probabily i have none of those cause i cant afford
As usual, great video, helps people choose based on their preference and shooting priorities. Me, I went the a7Riii but it was easier as I was not vested in lots of Canon or Nikon glass. My other reason is the tech behind it and a belief, rightly or wrongly, that Sony are in this for the longer term as proven by their investment in tech and glass, as you say GMaster lenses are excellent, if expensive. All I need to do is get round to reading your books I bought….. 😂😂😂
Why upload raw audio? Great videos though. Love it!
I wish I had a Chelsea in my life
I’m a beginner and wanted to ask which camera is best for weddings, I’m looking for something that’s easy to operate and good quality pictures
Sony a7R III
Sony a7 III
Nikon D850
I don’t know why Sony would leave time-lapse out. I also don’t know the A7RIII. But the a6500 has a downloadable time-lapse software feature that works fine.
I’ve been using Sony mirrorless since 2010. To me mirrorless is an advanced camera vs DSLR. It just makes sense. I think DSLR is on the way out and I will never buy a camera with a floppy mirror.
When the first cameras came out with an EVF they weren’t very good. Today they are very good in most cases. I can see what the sensor sees and have everything in the EVF and/or the LCD. When people have an opportunity to spend sufficient time with an EVF they become converts.
I sooo wanted Nikon to win
if I only have Nikon and Nikon glass, and shoot video and photo evenly, would I be fine with the d850??? please tell me!!!
First of all I would like to compliment you guy’s on your videos, you actually try to take an objective view, as far as the Sony, I wouldn’t consider switching from my Nikon’s to Sony. One the factor of dependability and lenses, which I have a large assortment of Nikon. (The one reason I invested in Nikon back in the 70’s.) Started in photography in 1972 in Vietnam. I currently have a D810 and a D4, which I do not plan on upgrading any time soon. (Diane is my wife, I’m J.R.)
You forgot which one is better for portraits… would it be the sony because of focus and iso perform?
The battery goes to Nikon hands down.
Love to watch fixed games, where the outcome is given from the beginning. More easy to place your bet. Sony is a “true” winner – always. Great stuff, but really hard to watch your constant bias. Lots of good info, but Seriously miss “the art of photography” thats way more than sharpness, battery life, stability etc. But guess its a part of the photography world – being perfect. Thanks anyway…

What adapter do you recommend so I can use my Canon lenses on the Sony A7R lll until I get Sony lenses? Which Sony lens do you recommend to begin with for travel etc? Thanks!
I’m a learner and I follow you.. I have a request please mention by which camera you are recording, setting , lighting, editing. It could be so useful to me and hope others.
omg tony, u keep dismissing chelsea’s experiences
what is the camera you are using for this video, canon??? but which one
“What is this thing we are missing?” – Ties. Some of those were ties.
If the nikon had EVF, that would be my pick. But the EVF is really important for me.
