Hi Kai W, I’m a fan photographer , and I just order my Nikon d850. I want your advice about with lens I have to buy. I usually take family pictures and some time nature pictures. I thinking buy Nikon Nikkor 18-300mm F/3.5-5.6. really need your help. I really appreciate your videos. thank you.

I am thinking about upgrading from a D5200 to something newer and better. I was looking into the D850 already, but now I am even more committed to the idea. Yes this thing is extremely high priced, but in the end it is better to get a body that actually works perfectly instead of keeping a dated body that isn’t capable of doing many things. Yes, it will likely cause me to buy new lenses as well as the ones i have now will likely not be great for the D850 body. But I guess I will have to do that at some point anyways

It is too big and heavy for the year 2017, so I prefer my Sony A7RII with Sony/Zeiss FE 55mm.f.1.8 and Sony FE 85mm.f.1.8 and Sony/Zeiss FE 24-70mm.f.4 plus Tokina FiRIN FE 20mm.f.2, perfect for my little backpack. But we all have different needs!

As a Colorado boy I have to say that I was surprised to see Kai wearing a Carhartt hat which is a brand I haven’t seen too much outside of mountain territory. Then I saw the “Starter” logo (@ 4:45) on the back and laughed at the thought of the factory that successfully combined the two brands. Good stuff! Thanks for the videos Kai. They are always entertaining, even in the most subtle ways.
