‘DSLRs are still alive and kicking’… yes, thanks ironically enough to SONY!! Wow, watching this you are reminded who actually made this great BSI sensor for Nikon (Nikon designed it; Sony manufactured it based off of the same underlying tech used in their A7RII, A99II and now A9); just wish that shots taken in Live View refreshed quicker like they do on a Sony Alpha series camera. Kudos to both companies (as Sony has produced the sensors on Nikon’s top dslrs for several years) to produce this beast of a camera and keep pushing Canon to upgrade their cameras quicker and with more features onboard (WHY the hell doesn’t the 6d MarkII have 4K, especially knowing the the upcoming A7III will have it and be in the same price range??? Baffling!!)

I’ve been a Canon shooter ever since 1983. Jumping ship to Nikon has never been a serious consideration…until now!!!

Nikon why not thinking putting a back light on the button its so anoying shooting at night when you cant see what you are pressing please improve the product even cars have park and brakes assist this days. Very expensive but i still have to carry torch

Is it worth comparing Sigma’s new 24-70 mm f/2.8 image stabilized lens with the more expensive Canon counterpart (which doesn’t have image stabilization)? You’re good at identifying game changers. Thought you might tell us whether it could be one.
