would you recomment this camera for recording youtube videos of DIY crafting? Im considering it for combined use. Photo and video of jewelry making.
Issue with wild life photography? Wrong. No problem when fitted with a fast lens.
Great video. Can this camera be used for astrophotography with the right lens ?
How the hell does this only have 20mp when the 7100 has 24??
I have switched to Canon from Nikon about 6 months ago. Canon has the good color science. Therefore, the low light quality of Nikon’s raw is superb! I shoot events a lot and Nikon is the best!
Autofocus is not all about the camera. Depends what lens you use as well.
Wonderful review! I would like to use mine for shooting a concert in a hall with a very low-light situation – which lenses would you recommend?
Would you recommend this camera for Astrophotography (either as it is or attached to a telescope) ?
I’m upgrading from a D5000 I know this camera would be great
Could you please tell me if this would be a solid camera for shooting pictures that are going to be published in a book? I’m writing a cookbook and want to shoot my own pictures. Thank you
Thanks! This was super helpful. I’m a senior in highschool and just starting to launch my photography brand and I’ve been looking for an upgrade from my NikonD3400 but I wanted to stay with Nikon so I could keep all my lenses.
You’ve got a new subscriber👏🏻
Im still rocking an old D300s, but it starts to show its age. Ive wanted to upgrade into used FX format. But came across this one in my hunt, completly sold! Thanks for the video, ive made up my mind!
you used the term very very good 3 times in a row. Time to broaden your vocab brother or write down before you record
you do know that the more megapixel a camera have, the worst it performs in low light. just a real info for you.
If your a photographer who will do a billboard or magazine shoot, that person knows which camera to use, and the D7500 isn’t it. A lot of wrong information in these video
Ok so d7500 or the sl3
1- Want to “tweek” colors? in your Nikon? go to Picture Control, press rigth, choose a profile and press rigth again, now Tweek away. You can also flatten the image to make colors in post available too.
2- Low ligth Scenarios need larger apertures with better lenses a side from the kit lens (not eveything is ISO)
3- Face tracking is for Group Photos and 3D tracking is for moving objects , they are separate features
4- All Nikon DSLR record in Mono. (in filming, most sound is recorded seperate for post) The audio jack allows the Stereo Microphones that fit.
5- The Menu guide. Notice the button under MENU, it has a Question mark (?) , select an option in the menu screen and press that button, the screen will show you what it does, like a buit in Manual.
6- You have the scroll button on the back and on top rigth you have the aperture symbol. Hold it down to change Aperture, realize to change speed when Shooting Manual only.
7- The “Hour Glass”, make sure you are using a fast SD card as recommend in the Manual, since it can compromise refresh rates when shooting at full resolution.
8- The D800 Series is for Studio Work, The D7500 is the new D90, witch is a more for travel, sports and wildlife.
9- Cinematic Film making can be done with higher end and fixed lenses. Usually 2.8 apeture or above (your kit lens is not a movie lens)
10- Cannon or Any other camera also depend on the lenses to get results kit lenses can only attempt to emulate
PS: Hope you do another one.
oh, and Dexter, the Series, used a Nikon D800 for most of the show.
I am planning to buy this camera very soon. Could someone suggest me a good lens for landscape photography that won’t cost a kidney?
what hate ? where?
