Hard to tell who this camera is for. The lack of a second memory card slot rules it out for professional work. People who shoot sports or wildlife often use backbutton focus that is hard to use in portrait mode without a battery grip as there is no room for your thumb between the camera and your forehead, at least if you are left eyed. Not to mention that they will miss the better battery life. This probably should have been named Nikon D5600 as it is more of a slight upgrade to the 5000 series than something you would expect in the 7000 series that we are used consider good semipro cameras. The only good thing with this camera is that it probably will lower the price of the D7200
Nikon D7200 is Better . it is a semi pro DX body but the capabilities are still good compared to the Nikon cheaper body’s . But if you are looking for 4K video on the Nikon d75000 is it really worth buying, No. it’s really a downgrade from the d7200. if you want the best save your money and buy a Canon 5D mark 4 .
סקירת מוצר מעניינת, תודה רבה, אני מסכים שהעדר שני כרטיסי זיכרון מורידה הרבה מהעניין שהמצלמה הזאת יכולה היתה ליצר.
It’s going to look a bit strange if they bring out the 7300 to replace the 7200 proper. Someone could have made a typo, Nikon made a mistake, or are planning something else.
is there a backlight button on nikon d7500?
i agree with sam meridith nbot a 7200 replacement , no battrey grip no dual card slot d500 is lots better save your money dont buy it its crap i have 7200 and wouldnt buy this camera
what’els you guys need simple ans guys in this price what els we have I guess only 80d canon is it ?? 80d has a single better thing I guess nothing els better AF that’s it no 2 card slots no 4k video n more then 1year old sensor I guess n New sensor is always better for me I got my new D7500 same most likely D500 same picture quality n video quality yes I know there is lots of extra thinks but m very happy best speedy camera with best price that’s all I need no battery grip is better for me I got 2 extra battery already ( mostly inside my pockets when using ) easy tu use with less weit is better for me 🙂
M using d7500 trust me it’s awesome i love speedy camera like d7500 / same like d500 but if really u are a user then no need tu capture AF there is a better ways user knew it ‘ don’t pay extra for D500 really
As long as I can still use my old legacy glass with it then no problem.
Whats that you say? I an not use my old glass the same way I do with all my other Nikons.
For me that is clearly A REAL DEAL BREAKER.
I have a 7200. Was hoping they’d continue with one like that and add a flip screen. But this is not it. Such a let down. I want Canon and Nikon to merge and splice an 80D+D7200 together and add in-camera vibration control for me so I can be happy. lol PentOlumpusCanikon. One camera to rule them all and in the market bind them.
you got the thumbs down as soon as you said that a 922k dot screen is better than a 2.3mil dot screen. Didn’t even watch the rest. Why both if your not going to tell the truth.
I just bought a D7200 NEW over this D7500 even though I was looking to have this as a backup camera to my Lumix G7’s 4K video as well as my main stills camera. I moved up from the D3200. I chose the D7200 for a few reasons. The 4K, though a nice feature, is cropped in a bit further so I would HAVE to invest in a wide angle lens that would live on that camera for video because my Sigma 18-55mm would just be too telephoto for practicality; forcing me to utilize the 1080p60 anyway. Secondly, the D7500 has less nominal megapixels than the D7200. While the sensor might be technologically better, I was moving from a 24 megapixel camera and I often do larger prints, so going down in megapixels was kind of an issue. Finally the removal of dual SD cards. I’m guessing this was a cost-saving decision but taking something AWAY is almost never as popular as introducing something new (e.g. Apple and the headphone jack). Dual SD card slots serve a really REALLY practical purpose that if you’ve gotten used to is not something you’d like to leave. And it is a good practice to get into backups anyway. I wish they had at least included XQD/SD slots.
Couldn’t watch it all his voice is fucking stupid
I am considering getting the D7500 for wildlife photography/filming as I have Nikon fit lenses & my (older) D600. But it does have those frustrating drawbacks; 1 card slot, no battery grip option and only a tilting lower res screen…however, it still looks capable due to the D500 sensor and 4K video! I’m actually wondering whether it is better to wait & see what Nikon will release next as that will show us generally the direction Nikon is moving in; will it be a D620, a D760 or a DX D5700 – or a brand new mirrorless system? It’s hard to predict. If the update to the D5600 had a 24MP BSI sensor, a full vari-angle touchscreen, 51 AF points, Expeed 5 processor, 7-8 fps, 4K video etc then it would kill off the D7500 at a much lower price point (I have put all these suggestions to Nikon so here’s hoping!).
good
Why are you able to say the ISOs in hundreds, 32hundred, , 16hundred etc, but not simply say D75-hundred? Who calls it the Seven Thousand Five Hundred?
Does it support non motorise lens???
Great comparison, sticking to my D7200. Why?…2 card slots, bigger lcd, it can take legacy glass, i like metering button on top, i use video record button to change iso when taking photos, can attach a grip, video is useless on nikons. I bought it for its image quality so not bothered about poor croppedv4k or a couple of extra frames per second. Ps..i love the way this guy says kaemera 😁
This is really very good camera for beginner and professional photo shooter

I thknk the d7200 is still better than d7500
