How does the D7500 compare to Z 6 in term of AF-C? I currently have the D7500 but would like to make the jump to mirrorless for EVF but I don’t want to lose the AF-C autofocus ability of the D7500. Thanks.
Hi Fro,
Another great video. This interests me as I’m in the market for a good camera. Nice point about the rapid fire shots and the slow focusing. That’s important info, and a bit disappointing.
1) Which camera did you use to make this video?
2) I appreciate you showing the flash-free shots with the zoom, but please include the ISO for each shot so that we can see just how high this ISO goes. Your ISO in real world terms seems to be higher than what DxO Mark shows for the camera under low-light ‘sports’ viz. ISO 1483. https://www.dxomark.com/Cameras/Nikon/D7500
3) Did any of your photos go through post-processing before being placed on the vid?

Jared I’ve had this camera fir about 8 months and love it
Honestly yes it has one SD card slot …PTFFF I carry a spare ..Ive never had a card fail in 10 years
You have to remember this camera was $800 cheaper than the d500 …that’s two lenses or one top quality one
I go with 6400 on my D7200 and it’s fine. I’d imagine this camera could easily do 8000 with adequate exposure. I’m still on the fence of getting another D7200 or going to a D7500.
Only i come here for the intro “Jared Polin Frok phooootoooo”.xDDD
How do you think you would have done with the D7200? How much better is the AF and subject tracking in the D7500? How would the images compare at ISO 10k?
Still recommend this camera as of July 2019? Seems like deals are decent right now for body and upgraded lenses. Its stretching my budget some but ifs its that much better than say 5600 I can make it work. Or is there anything out (other brands) or coming out soon that I should be looking at? Thanks, love the content.
I’m new. What is a kit lens?
I’ve had this camera for a couple weeks and love it. The only big issue I have with this camera is that it doesn’t have a depth of field preview button. I’m going to have to use live view as a depth of field preview, not ideal.
for wedding shoot with nikon d7500 with 50mm lens show the vedio settings of camera for better shoot
Hii Dear sir, my self Prasenjit and I’m from India. Sir i want to buy nikon dslr for wedding photography.. So which camera are best? Nikon D7200 or D7500
I never realized how oddly shaped Jared’s eyebrows are until just now.
Jared really is amazing. He is such a pro. He is there to share his passion for photography while helping less experienced or curious photographers. He tells it like it is. He doesn’t use fanboy tactics. He doesn’t just preach more money newer equipment. He really does a great job on all of his videos. Good job Jared! Keep up the great work. Thanks for all you do.
what lens..koto.mm
I tend to listen from many photographers and/or kit reviewers about the drawbacks of bumping up the ISO in cases where not so “fast” lenses are available. While this is true (of course losing light due to aperture needs to be balanced from the ISO – for the moment I leave the shutter speed away), I never hear anyone talking about the specs of a picture taken by a let’s say F/1.4. Let me explain, assuming that I have a lens with a F/1.4 aperture capability. In low light, I can use this F/1.4 in order to get more light, but technically the photo I will capture is something completely different to a setting of let’s say F/11.
So, my question is in cases that for technical reasons we need high apertures (all lenses offer F/11-F/16-F/22 settings for example), why fast and expensive lenses are considered better? (I am not talking image quality, sharpness etc – only light capabilities)
I am an amateur photographer and I would really appreciate your comments since currently I would never consider taking a wide angle photo in a stadium like the situation presented by Jared with F/1.2-F/1.4 etc even if I had the lenses to support that.
One love man. We appreciate your videos
I use this camera for wildlife photography…. Its excellent
Which lens good for N 7500 For Beginners.
Any Recommendations please Guyes …
I assume ot better than my Nikon d3200 that I had forever. Thinking on upgrading to this cause it cost less than $800 on Amazon if you just get the body. (all I need anyway cause I got rest of the gear already) I need to change camera soon as my d3200 is starting to chug at the load I give it. Focus becomes slower, and can no longer be cleaned 100% do to internal filth. This looks like a camera that can do it all for a low price.
can you plz make same types of video for Nikon d 5600 ?
