I think it all depends on one’s particular situation and budget. I tried the 7200, 500 and 7500 (which I now own). I chose the 7500 (mainly for bird photography) and am very happy with the combination of features at an intermediate price. If I were a pro, I’d care about having two card slots but I’m not and have never had a card failure. If I ever take a costly vacation, I can rent a camera with two slots. I care more about the weight (as a woman of slight build) that, in combination with a long lens, affects my ability to steady it and how long I can shoot without fatigue. I use a 100-400 Tamron lens, also comparatively light, and find the combo ideal for my particular needs.
Really annoying that they removed Easy ISO. I’ve been using it forever on my previous Nikons and now I even have to take my finger off the shutter to change it. Bad design having to use two fingers on the same hand to change the ISO manually, feels very awkward.
is it a good idea to buy Nikon D7500 in 2019?
This is an absolutely biased a terrible review. Tony is clearly hellbent on directing people away from buying the 7500. I’ve shot with Nikon’s DX format models for 10+ years, and the D7500 is hands down the best camera I’ve ever shot with. Only 1 SD card slot isn’t a problem for 99.999% of people (myself included). I’ve never once (not once) had an expensive SD card fail. As for it’s sensor, it literally uses the EXACT same sensor/processor as the D500, which is arguably the best DX model that Nikon has ever produced. Yes, if you want to complain about going from 24mp to 20.9mp, go ahead and do so. You’ll need to print a 24×36 photo in order to notice anything (which would be minimal at best). I’ve yet to meet a single person who bought the D7500 and regrets it. As I said, it’s an amazing camera.
Was there a tutorial for this camera ever posted?
Is D7100 still relevant?
You are incorrect there is a built in focus motor
I’ll wait for the next D7xxx (if there will be). But if I go to uprgade from my D3500, D500 is a very good choice.
10:48 actually it has a better lowlight iso than my d3500 (1483 vs 1192) and the 20.9mp was for low light
Enjoyed the review and choose the D7500 to go along with wife’s D7200. Have an issue though with one of the settings…..according to the manual I should be able to program the OK button to zoom to 1:1 magnification when shooting in Live View in order to check focus (page 15 of the Nikon D7500 Menu Guide), however when I set it up and try to use it all that happens is a yellow square shows up and flickers while bouncing around on the monitor. Does this feature not work on this camera, or did I get a bad body? Thanks, your feedback appreciated.
Trying hammer nikon
D7500 has a af internal motor
Nice
0:59 isn’t the 80d the closest competitor
This review seems last minute and rushed through. D3300 has the same image quality as the D7500?
I dont think you should make any more previews i mean you wont understand a camera fully till you use that and also they reduced megapixels of the camera so less pixels can capture more light and i have seen it there is no difference between 21 mp and 24 mp cam i have both nikon d7500 and nikon d3400 and yes there is vast difference between max iso on d3400 and d7500.i prefer you first buy camera use it for sometime and than carry out the differentials.
Will the D7500 make a good backup camera to the D500 if you are not doing any Professional Work?
People watch this video for facts. Maybe a bit more research before you stand in front of the camera next time…
Your videos provide really good information and guidelines.
