D7200 is 18 RAW buffer

This sensor in this camera is terrible. The same goes for the D500, of course because it’s the same one. My D7200 was much better. I owned the D500 and quickly sold it. I rented a D7500 this weekend and it was a mistake. Absolutely terrible dynamic range and bringing up exposure even slightly results in noise like I’ve never seen. I own a D750 and realize it’s full frame and still one of the best bodies for DR, but I’d say the 24MP sensor I had in my D7200 was squarely in the middle between it and the 7500/500. Very disappointing.
Hello the nikon D 500 is one of the best ever DSLR Camera in the market now just unbeatable.. The D 7500 is his little brother an amazing camera of course the dual sd card slot and no battery grip is a disadvantage none of the camera has a good Live view AF yet so no complaints great shot for 4K shoot.. I would definitely not suggest to buy the D 7200 now which is too smal before these brothers… hopefully wish nikon comes ip with a best AF for live recording soon. .. I got a D 7500 its just mind blowing….
Plz note this guy is so negative about D 7500 which is way better and superior to D 7200 which is outdated camera now f or me.. amatures can keep D 7200… wedding means serious D 7500 is the best if can afford 750 $ more D 500 would be a dream camera of the DX series….
Which is better for photography? Nikon D7500 or canon 80d
I doubt about buying the d7500 and d5300. I have 18-270 tamron lens. Will the quality be good with such a cheap lens for video and pictures (all kind of)
Hi tony, would the 2.2 time crops affect on 4k which will influences the high iso performance while d7500 recording 4k video? thanks
technically it is not “buffering”, but flushing buffer’s contents to storage (SD card). buffering is waiting for enough data to arrive to buffer to do something meaningful with it, like watch video. so camera is flushing, not buffering 🙂
Hi, please suggest me an upgrade, currently m using d3100. M an enthusiast mostly shoots wedding in my family, vacations. I use 35 mm and 50 mm primes only.
Thanks Tony. Lots of great information. Unfortunately, it feels like I’m learning to use a new computer operating system. The problem with Nikon is that D5xxx is too little (in terms of basic, easy to access functions to control light) and the D7xxxx is way too much. I think Fuji is the only APS-C manufacturer that gets it right. I discounted the XT-2 because Fuji colors are not for me, but I rather spend my time learning photography and not camera operating systems. Thanks again!
I agree with you…Snapbridge is HORRIBLE!
Great review. Love your show. Stop and drink some water occasionally lol.
It is not true about low light performance…
Great honest review. But sounded more like an ad for every other camera. If this was the only D7500 review i watched, i wouldn’t get one.
I bought the D7200 a few years ago and like the fact that it is lightweight enough for me to handhold- I still have my D2x and a D3 which are too heavy for off tripod use. I want to get back into closeup flower photography, which Nikon would you recommend at this point, I’m considering the D7500, the D500, or one of the D800 series.
The D7500 is mainly for wildlife on budget
Not for wedding , Portraits – 7200 comes handy
D500 is beast in terms of dx its has all the pro features in a dx body
Best for all purpose but at that price many will choose an fx body
Love your reviews and follow them regularly, still confused, D7200 or D7500 for Birds and wildlife, Help would be greatly appreciated. D500 is out of question at the moment.
Thanks

I am thinking of purchasing d7500 for professional use. Bit concern about one card slot. Isn’t the capability of transfer images to mobile from blue tooth is something that provide a back up is the card fails?
Hi Tony, love your channel but I do have a few questions:
1) I had the d3500 and now the D7500 and I find the quality to actually be better. I know it has less megapixels, but the images seem sharper and more refined. But my question is, wouldn’t less megapixels equal better low light since the individual pixels are larger?
2) can you please provide more detail on the 180k rgb metering system?
Thanks again for your reviews. I am still within the return time frame and want to make sure I made the right choice. The D7200 is no longer available unfortunately. I got the two lens kit for $1000.
