You can’t use older Nikon lenses on it
14bit Raw *Lossless* >compressed< .... what the shit ?_?
sir I am from in India plse help me How is the best D500 OR D7500 plse reply
I am using Nikon d5100 from 2.5 years. It lacks in capturing details and handles shadows/highlights in bit poor way (as I use camera, I am not am expert)
I want to upgrade.
I don’t have budget to buy new canon 5d mark 3/4.
Can I go for buying old/used canon 5d mark 1 or probably mark 2.
How i wanna use them – outdoor/indoor portraits with lighting, Videos making (having FHD with 60fps would be great)
Kindly let me know, should I go for buying old Full frame body for details and quality or I should buy anyone from these new Crop bodies for features?
Budget – $1000-$1200
after buying the D610, they release a new camera…
How does this guy preview a camera he don’t have?
hey @jaredpolin surely the Nikon d7500 is a great deal?? compared to the d500 when it nearly has everything the d500 has plus its cheaper?
lmfao
Nikon D610 or Nikon 7500 for Landscape and WildLife?
d500 cost around $1700 on ebay.
I’m going to buy it 😊
I’m looking to upgrade from my starting DSLR D3200 and I’m really considering the D7500 and getting a Tamron 70-200mm 2.8 and a 85mm 1.8
I’ve been thinking about the D7500 more, and the only thing that I would have done differently with it is the name. It’s role as an enthusiast counterpart for the D500 is pretty clear and makes perfect sense, but I feel like it gave up too much of what defines the D7XXX series to really fit in there: the second card slot, the magnesium frame, the aperture ring feeler, the battery grip, etc. are all gone.
But it’s also clearly a step up from the D5XXX series because it does retain a lot of the 7XXX series things like the top LCD, U1/U2 modes, bigger battery, etc.
I’d have named it the D6500. Clearly related to the D500, but somewhere between the D7XXX and D5XXX series in terms of overall quality and performance.
But that’s just me.
bring extra sdcard..
Here are the only three nikon dslrs worth buying:
Level 1: D5600 ($700)
Level 2: D7500 ($1250)
Level 3: D750 ($1800)
Level 4: D5 ($6500)
For Canon:
Level 1: t7i ($750)
Level 2: 80D ($1100)
Level 3: 6D mark II ($2000)
Level 4: 1DX mark II or 5D mark IV ($6000 or $3300)
Cameras NOT to buy:
D500 – you’re paying $650 more all for just 2 extra FPS
D610 – the D750 is just $300 more and is vastly better. If you want full frame performance you want the D750. Plus it doesn’t shoot 1080p at 60fps.
D810 – You’re paying $1000 more than the D750 for 12 more megapixels. Yes that’s a lot of megapixels but not THAT much. The a7rii and 5DSR provide significantly more megapixels. If you don’t need either of those then you don’t need the D810. 24 MP in the D750 is enough for almost everyone. Alternatively, you might want to wait for the D820 or D850, which will probably have more megapixels and actually be worth the price for those who make ENORMOUS prints.
D3400 – no weather sealing, no microphone jack, only 11 AF points. Deal breakers, that you can avoid by getting the D5600 which is still cheap for a DSLR.
5D mark III – the D750 and 6D mark II are better yet cheaper than this old but advanced-for-its-time model.
Old 6D – same reasons as D610. Not… good… enough. With such bad specs I don’t think the (old) full frame sensor will benefit you.
7D mark II. You want this kind of performance, with an APS-C sensor? NO. Get the D750 or 6D mark II, or save some money and get the D7500.
High-Res cameras:
a7rii and 5DSR. Or wait for the D820/D850.
I recently bought the 7500, upgraded from the 5100. Definite upgrade all the way around. That step makes more sense than moving within the 7000 family. Jared, question what is the fastest and best SD on the market? My older Patriot Class 1o SDHC’s are really slow;
1:20 @Jaredpolin Fro, listen dude no disrespect to you, your videos, your brand and all but I sometimes photograph at OLF Coupeville and I gotta tell you one reason why I’m seriously looking into upgrading from D5300 to D7500 is that burst rate. I’ve got jets falling at 750 feet per minute at 150 knots (almost 175 mph) so yeah having that burst rate to get the tire smoke of the touch at OLF Coupeville is worth saving up to get a D7500.
I’d be grateful if you’d come out to the OLF on Whidbey and KICK MY A** IN PHOTOGRAPHY!
Yours;
Joe A. Kunzler
Hi Jared , I want to buy my first DSLR camera at the black Friday or thanksgiving of this year, I’m pretty sure that I want Nikon, but I’m hard to divide which one, before it’s between D7100 and D7200, but now I there is D7500 out, therefore can you recommend among D7100, D7200, and D7500. I considered the price of body only below than $1300. Thank you very much for anyway.
Considering I would be replacing my D3100 with a broken battery cover (I’m using tape to keep it closed ) It seems fine for me. I do not need multiple sd card slots. I only want a camera that takes pretty pictures that I can afford.
This is pointless idk why anyone would buy this
