This is just WRONG. As far as image quality (including high-ISO noise) is concerned, the D7500 is identical to the D500, and that BLOWS AWAY the D7200 in low light.

Nikon really has not understood how the flip screen SHOULD work! They had it right even on the D5100, and now? Disappointing..

Very basic review, too basic. This was cursory at best. I will not subscribe to this channel, there are better channels that cover more details and even do tests.

What about Highlight weighted metering? This is huge for folks shooting stuff under stage lights? I would love to have that feature and the power aperture for video on my 7200 along with the tilting screen….
BTW great Gorge and Hood shooting. I am local in Hillsboro.

I do not understand why Nikon and Canon make that stupid decisions when it comes to a few nice upgrades, paired with more major downgrades. It’s just stupid.

One thing we all have to get accustomed to is the fact that the camera manufacturers are beginning to create a clear line of differentiation between their products, instead of competing for sales of all of them. In the end, creating clear product lines makes it easier for the customer to choose (and spend more money hopefully) on features that they may want. Plus they have to make a clear distinction on what the more expensive cameras have in order to justify the price. So I am not surprised that the camera is missing features that it’s predecessor had. Because if it had those, the D500 would be irrelevant to many.

Wow nikon really dropped the ball on this one. Nikon- “We can make a great affordable camera but instead lets force our consumers to spend double the price on the D500 and remove all the good features the d7500 predecessors had, like dual memory card slots, contacts for a battery grip and aperture tabs for manual lenses” I’m glad i went switched brands and went with Fuji
