I’m coming from a d3200. So it’s a great up grade for me. Love my new d7500. And why would you even need a 7500 if you own a 500. That’s going backwards. 🤷🏾♂️
I agree with many comments here, the D7500 looks more like a D6xxx series in a 7xxx body, it makes me think that Nikon forces professional DX users to spend extra money on the D500.
Can Nikon D7500 compatible on battery grip?
I bought the d7500 after my d7200 broke. I love it. Its faster, gives me more keepers as a bird photographer. I didn’t have to learn a new layout coming from the 7200. It really is a nice compliment or replacement to the 7200 if you don’t need the features that were removed. The d500 is more camera than I need. This hits the sweet spot between features and price
The perfect review
In Canada, the XQD memory cards are very expensive, I am sure that you would agree. From Pat McCarthy. Thank you.
I upgraded to the D7500 from my old D50. That’s right that’s what I said. I paid a grand total of $985.00 for the NEW body that included a quality 64G SD card, battery, and charger. It is fully compatible with all 3 of my older lenses.and I wanted the tilting screen and the 4K. I could care less about the dual card slot. Didn’t have one before and I have never had a memory card failure because I don’t skimp on those sorts of things. I was going back and forth between the cheaper 7200 and the 7500, but finally, the sensor and faster processor from the D500 that the 7500 has, the 4K video, tilting screen and Bluetooth made the 7500 worth the extra $200.00.
Between D7500 and D750, which would you pick? thanks
too much moaning about the camera and no images shown, not one of your best videos. Not everyone has a ton of money to buy a D500, one card slot…..so what, I have never had a card fail on me yet, why?, because I buy decent cards to start with
As far as I can see if you like it or not all depends on your prospective. From my point of view, a D3200 user, the D7500 is a good compromise to make because it brings lots of the D500 features with a much lower price tag. For me that’s a big deal because not only am I upgrading my camera but looking to invest in more lenses. I am very happy with my D7500 but I can see that if you are a professional photographer or money is no object then why buy a D7500. I think there are quite a few people like me who will appreciate the D7500 for what it is.
Well, now that the D7500 can be had for $679 refurbished (Adorama), I’m finally upgrading from my D5200.
F stop control in life view – 180.000k rgb sensor – group af – touch screen control – large buffer – these are some of the important things.
Hi there, I really need some help here:
So, I´m new in dslr world, I never used a dslr camera before
I have a 2000 euro budget
I have 2 choise:
-1. Buy D7500, now discount to 1250 euro with 18-140mm f3.5-5.6G kit. If I buy this, I have money to spend on 50mm f1.8g and buy a tripod, bag, memory, and some other stufs.
-2. Buy the Nikon D750 Kit + AF-S 24-120 VR for 1899 euro. That means I dont have money for other stufs, just for memory, but no bag, no nothing.
So, the 2000 euro question it´s, as a novice beginner, buy the d7500, or the d750?
I want to use it:
1. To learn
2. Then make food photos for web and for restaurant photos.
3. Later for wedding and portraits. Wanna make some money.
And here its my theory:
If I buy D7500 I will have a lot of accessories with I can easely learn and work. Then If I like it and I´m getting pro and need a fullfram, I still can buy a used d750 and use the optics from d7500 (please correct me if I´m wrong)
Whats youre opinion?
Please comment the answer
It all depends on price. I purchased a refurbished D7500 for $600. (Seven shots on the shutter counter). My third refurbished Nikon digital body. I wouldn’t put too much money in any body now as many changes are coming soon.
Maybe after all these reviews about this camera, Nikon should re-brand it as the D5700?
Love my d7500 — yeah it has some minor issues but still worth the value
Batter power might be bit of an issue but certainly that dual slots is not an issue what do we have to use 2 slots as the memory card these days are reliable and even if it’s corrupted we could retrieve them.
Well honestly I think you being a bit to picky. I’m upgrading from a D3300 which I paid $350.00 for. It served me well for many years. but I needed to upgrade. Considering I only paid $850.00 for the D7500 the leep forward has been worth penny!
Hi There !! Getting back into DSLR photography after an absence of 7 years , presently using a D7000 , but about to make a purchase of the D7500 , looks like a decent step up , I used to watch your videos , but then got away from the hobby , but now getting back , kind of excited.
Still , nothing compares to a DSLR .
I really like my D7500. Image quality is great and it’s compact, so pleasure to carry around. I need to charge the battery once every 3-4 days, so that’s totally fine with me. The 8fps is the key upgrade form D7200, especially for birds and it’s still a fair bit cheaper than the D500 (especially nowadays).
