I’ve used the D7000 for 5 years and approaching 150 000 actuations so time to think of upgrading.
The only think I fancy that’s exclusive to the D7500 is it’s built in wireless to the Nikon app that allows you to also shoot from your smartphone (and copy pics to)
D7100 plus wireless SD is the cheapest option. But you won’t be able to shoot from smartphone, only copy pics to it.
My D7000 has gone to hell and back with me. What a robust beast!
Excellent comparisons.. answered my questions!
im old school my first camera was a sony with a floppy disk then i went tod80 now looking at d7100 will i really notice a differance in image quality or is all in the lens
Unless one is doing video no point even to upgrade from D7000 .
One question please help me out, really confused, my preference is photography.
Is it worth buying nikon d7100 over nikon d5600 or canon 200d ii.
All three costs almost same in 2021 currently in my country.
??????
For those who hold that the second slot doesn’t matter, consider this. The second slot is still useful redundancy purposes. As you say, we all probably carry extra cards and batteries, and should, no matter our camera. Putting aside that cards seldom fail, consider contingencies for sots that can’t be taken over. First, the slot 1 card gets corrupted on somehow the sealing fails and one card gets damage, and second, you accidentally delete the wrong shot off card 1, or accidentally reformat your card; if you have your camera set to use the second card slot for backup, the shot is saved. Combined with the better buffer – again, you never know when you’re shooting something that can’t be shot again, my vote is the 7200. I’ve shot 7100 for many years, and looking at purchasing another setup only because I want to keep it in another State, so I don’t have to go through the airport with my equipment. I’ll be getting the 7200.
In 7000d the induvidal pixel size is more than 7200d . Will that affect the low light perfomance. I am planning for a upgrade
The D7200 would be the best way; it will hold its resale value in years to come!
Thanks great commend advice 👍👍
i got myself a d7100 for 300USD (used). absolutely a steal in my opinion. cheaper body, better lens is the way if you are on a tight budget.
Do the d7000 and the d7100 have the same controles?
