Did you switch it from the L position to the dot position?
It’s the outer ring of the directional pad.
Hope you understand my English.
thanx a lot..got it now 🙂
Excellent explanation. Thanks.
Can you do a tutorial on dragging the shutter when using flash to open up a dark room. This seems to be a problem for many wedding and event photographers.
Outstanding video! Thanks for sharing your expertise. I’m grateful.
Oh my goodness! you are a life saver!!! I’ve been googling this for the past week!!! and NO luck, I’m so glad I found you and I can happily select my focus point! 🙂
Great Video…awesome teaching skills Michael!!
The great thing about the rear focus button is that you basically can leave your focus mode to AF-C, coz if you keep the rear button pressed, and the object moves, it’s gonna continuously focus. Said that, if you focus on a still object, you focus with the rear button and let go, the focus remains and when half pressing the shutter, the focus won’t change anymore. you can’t switch back if you get used to it. Great tutorial btw 🙂
Awesome man…. Thx a lot…
i gotta learn more from you. nice video
Great video. What about focusing for landscapes though? 51 point every time?
I use 1 point for just about everything

Hi Michael, on this video @ 5.35 you’re saying that we can move the single focus point to the desire location by using the directional pad. I tried it but the focus was not moving. Then I moved the Focus Selector Lock from “L” to “. Dot”. It started working.
See if you can put a comment on the video at 5.35 about this.
Thanks for the video.
you are amazing. I love you!!! thank you so much for this video!!!!!!
