Is there any way to force the live view mode on the 7200 to show the effects of the actual exposure settings? As I move the camera the live view brightens and dims.

Hey! I would like to know which focusing pattern do I use for panning birds? Do I use the 3D one since the square follows the subject? I photograph birds and when I’m panning I’m using continuous. But the birds are clear in some shots while their flying but then I see that some of them are blurry. When I’m looking through the view finder it’s hard to keep the focusing point on birds that are flying. Usually moving the focus point could waste time when the bird is diving. So do I keep it on 3D since it moves it by itself.

So you have a video on focusing on more than 1 person. I have a hard time taking photos of group pics and not all the faces are focused. Please advise!

Hi I am am able to select AFS however nothing changes and the camera seems to stay in AFA mode even though it says AFS. In case this is because of the lense, I have a kit lense from my previous D3000 camera, that’s Nikkor 18-35mm 3.5 with it. This option works fine on my old camera with this lense.
