D850
d5 is gonna take you into deep waters professionally, otherwise just be smart and stick with the fantastic d850.
Fory fai :v
d850! because I love to shoot landscapes and portraits mostly
I have both for the reasons stated in the video
D5 better for sports, the AF Points Lit On, much more comfortable.
The best choice is My Nikon D4 + Nikon D850, Because D5 is not better from D4 in low light. So i have a charger for Mb-D18….! 😀
Neither there too bloody expensive for the ordinary dude
Easy decision: get both a clean used D3s ($1500) and D800e ($1000) for much less than the price of a new D850. You’ll have the best high ISO performance in the former, and high resolutions with nearly the same dynamic range in the latter. The only things you really sacrifice are improved AF (could be important), slightly higher resolution (irrelevant), and flippy screens (stupid). But you’ll have more funds remaining to buy better lenses, which are the most important components of all.
Hey Froman, keep up the good work.
One error. The D5 silent high speed is dead silent and 30 frames a sec.
I was at a shoot, quiet on set, In ten minutes I shot 1100 images by mistake.
The silent images are jpeg only, no raw and active d-lighting does not apply.
In the real working pro world you need one of each.
A machine gun with 400,000 shutter life.
Also a massive pixel monster for big blowups and mag covers.
Man, this “4k” video sure looks blurry.
I AM NIKON D5200….
I would go with D850: price and specs, better and or similar to D5. Like you said, I can buy the D850 and have money left to buy a grip if I wanted to. Wi-Fi and BT settings is very important to me, I can use my cell as a remote wireless shutter and manipulate the triangle settings.
D850 for sure!
D5 for low light high speed action
D850, but Singapore has no more stock!! Angry with this!!
I still shoot with the d3300 and I love it! I can only imagine if I had one of these cameras o.O
as a newish full timer, I am struggling with this decision. I have a d750 that is getting tired and I think will be a great backup camera. I shoot portraits, in studio and on location to pay the bills. No weddings or family stuff for me. I shoot landscapes for fun and to keep my sanity. I don’t know what to buy!!!! If they were both the same price, I’d buy the d5. Since they are not, I think I will buy the d850. ugh!! ~Ashlyn
That’s not good
