Why not buy a D7500 for $700 refurbished in summer of 2019 with the software update which does better than Snapbridge with the iPad app!
The d7500 is a very nice AWESOME camera on its own!!!!!! Not comparing it to anything else, its better than the d7200 and almost as good as the d500!!!!!
I got a new one for $650.00 for body only with 4000 shots..
Thats a deal and a really nice camera!!
Imagine preferring an ugly battery grip or 2 card slots over a better low light sensor, faster processor, 4K video, better AF, tilting touchscreen, more buffer. It’s 2021, SD cards are reliable and cheap. I’ve never had a SD card failure. Also, the stock d7500 battery lasts twice as long as a mirrorless camera, anyone who uses an ugly battery grip is probably on full frame for portraits anyway. How difficult is it to change batteries from your bag? Also you can’t use ancient lenses anymore? I used AI and AiS lenses on my D7500. I didn’t have exposure metering on my AI lens but who cares live preview gives you exposures preview anyway. Honestly all these whiners crying about a stupid grip and 2 card slot you’re never gonna need anyway for actual improvements that will affect your photography and image quality.
