Can one use FX AI lenses? The D7200 does? It seems the reason to upgrade from D3xxx or D5xxx would be to use the good Nikon glass. I’m glad I upgraded to Fujifilm, however my son still shoots with a D3200.

I don’t know too much about Nikon cameras, but the specs in this camera does not sound like a huge upgrade, I don’t like the fact that they took out one of the SD slots, I always gave kudos for Nikon for having dual card slots. Great video, very informative.

I was on the fence on buying this camera since im looking for an upgrade from my d5000. I’ve had it since it was the newest beginner slr on the market back in 2010. And its been a long time. I wanted to get something from the nikon d7k series and noticed the d7500. I was about to order it but started asking around and every single response i got was save your money and buy a 7200 and you’ll be happy.

Started doing research and looking into videos like this. Im finding more and more negative responses to nikons d7500. I found that the only better option really was the 4k video and thats about it. Considering they deleted the dual card slots is beyond me.

Ultimately i decide to order my nikon d7200 online with the 18-144 lens kit for $1025.00 brand new un opened so im excited.

Also consider the fact that the 1250 price tag is ONLY for the body. no lens. Thats enough to buy the d7200 with its lens kit at best buy who over prices just about everything. If you want the d7500 WITH lens youre going to be spending 1700+ just crazy.

Us D7100 users with a camera now 4 year old who shoot landscapes don’t want the weight and expense of FF. Where do we go? EH….. don’t get either. I was hoping for a crop version of the D810

i brought 1 for £755.00 english i think it should be nearer this price it doesnt have a battrey grip unless you get third party whitch feels bit strange its also lot lighter made from carbon fibre

Does anyone who actually has the camera when they review it hate it? I get that everyone hates 1 card slot but I don’t care about that. What’s with these reviews of a spec sheet shitting all over it. By the way these are dirt cheap now a few years later and awesome.
