Interesting… Luckily I haven’t had any problems with the ones I use(Wasabi, Durapro) so far. Hope it never happens to me and whatever the reason is it works out again for you too.
I just got my nikon d7500 and two third party battery a while ago which works fine (atleast so far). The camera reads it well and displaying the battery info fine. The battery branded as kingMa. In my opinion Wasabi will perform even better. Not sure why it failed to operate on your camera. May be bcoz the battery I got a lot newer so theres some update on the firmware.. may be..?
1.75x speed to save time
Only allowing you to buy Nikon Batteries instead of a 3rd Party Battery? Same as other brands?
I got two 250mAh batteries, Chinese make, and they work perfectly and have significantly higher capacity than the original.
No problems charging, none using.
Bless the Chinese for making a really good battery.
