Great video! You are my favorite Flosstubers. In reference to the blanket stitch, there is a stitcher’s trick for marking your grid. Mark the distance between your stitches on the side of your non-stitching thumb, then use it to measure your stitches as you go.

Enjoyed this video but you make me crazy showing charts you’ve had for a while. I fall in love with them (that fall heart by Linda Culp Calhoun!!!) but then cannot find. waaaaaa! LOL Seriously though, thanks for sharing.
And Liz, if you want to lighten your stash load, I am willing to help by taking that Calhoun chart off your hands. And of course I am willing to pay for it.

Thanks as always ladies! I’ve been watching since you started! I feel exactly the way you do with the blanket stitch!!! You are not alone, lol. I was in Stitches Unlimited recently (I live upstate ny), I visit a couple of times a year, and asked Pat to say hi to you both from me (Craftfolk) she probably forgot, so Hi! Another great video, as usual. I love seeing what you ladies are working on. Your stitching/ finishes are always beautiful. You are both so creative. I apologize if you mentioned the magazine and month/ year, but I was curious the name and issue of the magazine where you found the pheasant pattern. I absolutely love pheasants and would like to stitch that one if I could find it. Thank you and hope to see you both again soon. Take care

Nice video. I base 1650 stitches per skein with specialty stitches, and using 1750 being an average per skein on 14 count for my rule of thumb, adding 200 stitches more for 16-CT, and so on when I kit up a chart. Love the pink planner color. The Stocking is gorgeous. Cute owls. Happy Labor Day Weekend!
