This camera is an absolute and utter waste of time. Scaled down DX camera with high price tag. Why ? To expensive for hobbyists, useless for pros who spend more on gear, why does this thing exist? Time to drop the entire DX SLR line.

Bad News Nikon, this is not Upgrade Nikon….this is downgrade, 20Mpxl is bad – should you upgrade the sensor to 30-36 Mpxl, but 8Fps is good one. 1 card slot sd for me is not big deal but 2 card slot is better.

Let me get this straight. You reduce the battery life and then remove the ability for the customer to compensate for it by not allowing a battery grip. And no second card slot? What are you guys smoking? Don’t even get me started on those strap anchors.

I don’t see why the designers at Nikon came out with this D7500, it is not worth buying, the D500 has so much more to offer.

Hi the D7500 does not seem very popular reading people’s comments. However I do applaud you for making a lighter camera and with a flip screen. I do have one question which is whether D lenses will auto focus on the D7500? Good luck with the new camera but in a real life none Pro situation the D7100/2 offer much better value and Pro’s will give it a wide berth. I like Nikon equipment but like the Df and the excellent Coolpix A this does not offer much more & you soon will be discounting to move product.

Will the D7500 have auto AF fine tune? My 60mm f/2.8 is completely off balance and the manual AF fine tune gives variable results.

What the F%&$% is happening with Nikon? I have been using Nikon for 30 years and I am mad by this incredibly crappy release, and the very forgetable Snap Bridge. Plus I do not know what is happening with the replacement for the D810 and the D720, upgrades that I am ready to buy. It seems you have nothing to show! What’s going on!

Nikon thought we are all borned yesterday,lol…a great ripoff! Nikon is cutting corner from light to lighter by taking out the more rigid magnesium alloy portion and substituted with plastic, and cited that it is more handy, really??
