Not if fast charging isn’t available for wireless charging. People will riot if they go portless before improving wireless charging speeds.

See this is what frustrates me.
Apple was so BIG about their carbon footprint plans but if they would have just switched to USB-C they could have had just that much more of an impact on that carbon footprint. Now the big footprint that Apple is dealing with is the big boot from EU saying “get your s _ _ _ t together – cause…. It’s mandatory!”

I really don’t understand why Apple calls the 13in MacBook “Pro”. There should be a MacBook Air, MacBook, and a MacBook Pro. That’s like calling the regular iPhone, iPhone Pro and the mini iPhone Air

Apple will most likely have a new standard for the USB C on iPhones which will require Apple approved cables, in order to take advantage of high speed charging and data transfer. Just like they are doing with wireless charging and MagSafe.
