Having had swollen batteries, I want to know whether the new chip and fanless state of the Air would have an issue if you were to use the Air daily. I’m holding out for more info – might be the 14” pro is still a better option. With the iPad, I’d rather have a calculator.

16:42 the iPad calculator will definitely borrow from Texas Instruments. Graphing equations in 3D and extending the scale in orders of magnitude.

Watching the keynote introductions for Stage Manager my initial reaction was “woah, that’s a huge waste of space”. I use nearly every app full screen, sometimes side-by-side in Spaces. In Marques description he used the word ‘dock’ to describe the left side thumbnail arrangement and that led me to “woah, why didn’t they integrate this into the dock”? They already have distinct areas of the dock for window management, so why do this separately? Why waste all that screen area on dead space outside the active windows?
