Locked hidden/recently deleted photos albums is one of the best features of iOS 16. Now hidden album actually makes sense. Also the photos object selection thingy works so good. And ofc the personalised spatial audio actually seems so cool, it scans your head and ear using depth sensor and front cam to enhance spatial audio for your ear’s structure.

I am so excited to interact with the new features and can’t wait for the personalisation of the home screens, video to text, Lock Screen widgets and most of all the select the subject and add in text feature.

Didn’t watch the live conference, waited for your video instead and totally loved it. Also I loved the touch of rainbow color in the background with everything darker making a very beautiful slight hint at the pride month, good job Marques.

What’s funny is a lot of the “new” lock screen features I had on my iPhone 3G after it was jailbroken. It’s honestly almost surreal at just how slow Apple is at catching up with basic functionality.

iOS16 seems to have very little core updates apart from the lock screen, yes individual apps get updated like Mail or Messages and such…but third party developers come out with updates every other week, Apple thinks once a year as part of an iOS system update is an okay enough reason to slowly drop older phones from being supported?

CarPlay and Android Auto is always on top of my list when I am considering a new car. And moving forward, I can’t imagine mine without a Wireless CarPlay. Believe me, one you use the Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, it feels like obsolete to use cables at this point. For my 3-4 hour trip, my iPhone 13 Pro Max only drops by 10% in battery usage. I totally love this thing!

Personally don’t find the need often to edit messages but right now there is no way to copy text out of a message. The Edit interface seems like it will allow me to select text in the message and copy it out (or cut it out) and then cancel the edit, leaving the message as is. Hopefully, it will allow the same in incoming messages (though actually editing incoming messages doesn’t make much sense).
