To all the android fans out there (also apple fans) don’t argue over what system is better, go for what system is better for you. Personally, android is better for me. And like me you guys also have a choice so don’t fucking care about some other person’s decision. I’ve met some people who go all out telling me I’m poor and uneducated for using an android phone. Don’t be like that apple fans. Also to the other party “Android had those features for years blah blah blah” we know it did

I’m saying all this because every time big YouTubers like Marques and Arun drop videos about iOS, Android and these companies in general people start a fucking war in the comments. Don’t be like that, grow up

Hate the notch; Apple made their incompetence a feature. Got to wait years to get rid of stupidity such as magsafe, notch, bloat, etc. Will still use a Mac just because there is no good alternative!

I actually like the style of the MBP, I have the M1 and I’m good with it. I would get the MBP M2 because its similar but better performance with a little of a different style. I don’t use the the camera as I am always setup on a desk and if anything soon we can use our phones. The battery life provides 3 more hours than the 14 in MBP. So, for people like me this is a good option.

Probably in the minority here but next gen CarPlay confirms Apple Car is probably not gonna happen. Why would they provide their unique software platform to 3rd parties a couple years before their own hardware product??
That’s like if they released realityOS for VR/AR other headsets a year before Apple Glasses.

I refused to use CarPlay because it takes over my iPhone. I need my iPhone to work exactly like how I know it works when I’m in the car or out of the car.

With that new CarPlay thing I would hope there is an option to make it only take away the infotainment screen, some companies like cadillacs have some gorgeous looking digital gauge clusters that I don’t think any apple interface could match

2 Thoughts:
1. Am I the only one who thinks that all options for the gage cluster of the new apple carplay looks just plain awful? I really like carplay but if I couldn’t turn that off, I don’t think I would use it.
Also, I think some (probably more high-end) car manufacturer should continue with their own software because it can really improve the overall look of the car if the infotainmant fits the rest of the interior and is done nicely. Can you really imagine that design they showed in new S-class? I definitely can’t.

2. Has anyone tried attaching their iPhone at the place where they did in the demo to show the top down view?
My iPhone 12s ultrawide is not nearly capturing enough of the table in front of me to be useful. I tested it on both PC and Laptop.

5:58 yes, as someone who sells new cars, that number is accurate. Majority of buyers will not buy a car without it
