I think that the reason why they redesign the Lock Screen on the iPhone, is because they might be preparing for an always on display on the iPhone 14. Just look at at the design, it looks like a Apple Watch. That’s how the always on display looks like. You know what I mean? So yeah.

Why does apple only offer 8gb models? 16gb is bog standard today. I’m not paying £200 for 8 extra gigs. In what world does it cost that amount? As a music producer so disappointed again. Will stick to hackintosh..

A lot of the really cool features will most likely have low use cases. Like Desk View. Super cool feature, but honestly, how often in a video chat/conference is there a need for someone to see what’s happening on someone’s desk?

Do you think they’ll release more colors of the MacBook Air a few months after release (like they do with the IPhone)? I just feel like a green/alpine green MacBook would look super dope! Even the Sierra blue!

Thanks, as always, for the quick turnaround on making the video. I have a couple of questions, but I know it’s early and the answers may not be available yet:

Will Continuity Cam work with apps other than FaceTime? Will you be able to use it with Zoom, Teams, etc. and put it on top of an external display instead of the MacBook Pro?

For Stage Manager, do you need the Apple Magic Keyboard to use an external display and Stage Manager? Can you use another stand/keyboard? Can you just lay it flat and use the external display and Stage Manager without having a stand?

Any info about other practical uses would be greatly appreciated.

iOS 16 looks cool! I’m really excited about the new Home Screen and being able to edit and unsend messages.

As far as CarPlay is concerned, it’s not Apple’s fault, but from a user experience perspective, not having tactile buttons is a step backwards, not forwards. Cars like Tesla with basically a giant iPad in the middle is a trash UX.

When you’re driving, you want real buttons. How is changing the volume, AC, etc any easier by taking away the tactile button and putting it on a distracting screen? It’s not. Glad Honda is still putting buttons on their cars, all other new cars and EVs look incredibly unappealing to me.

It looks like Apple is trying to go after the MS Teams market with Collaboration. I doubt they will be successful as most companies still use Windows and O365.

Please ask Apple to give us the permission to edit phone numbers in the dial pad itself. i.e.; adding international codes on pasted numbers etc. Who else want this?
