CarPlay vs Apple Car Theory. I want to add my 2 cents here. I don’t think apple has tossed out the idea of making a car. I just think that, in the US specifically. If the average salary for the majority of us is 51K. And people are making 48K to 56K on average. The first apple car may be somewhat affordable. But maybe not. And if the first apple car is successful. Then comes the premium apple cars. Apple Car Pro. Now, this is thinking 20 years down the line. So, it’s probably easier to find a way to integrate apple into what’s already available first. Before making that huge leap into taking on Tesla head on. Because most Tesla Owners I feel love their Tesla. And I don’t see someone with a Tesla just ditching their Tesla for an Apple Car just cause. I’m a fan of VW’s. I definitely want CarPlay in my 10 year old car. But I don’t want to buy a car just to get it. So, for me. Aftermarket is the wave. I’m not saying I’m not interested in seeing an apple car. But! I drive a manual. I like shifting gears. I like VW. My next car is going to be a VW. It’s already in my brain. It’s going to take a lot to get me off the VW train. Apple knows this. I feel like that’s why we haven’t seen the apple car yet. And! Im not sold on electric cars yet and giving up my manual. I have every intention to buy another manual.

Wasn’t apple set to make an electric car with Hyundai ? I know it eventually got scrapped but I think it’s safe to say that it definitely is something they have internet in.

What is not clear and wasnt explained yet is how the unsending of the imessage works. How do you undo send when the other person already got the message? Does it wait a few minutes before actually sending the message so it give you time to edit or undo send? Or does it send first but as long as you change your mind within the first few minutes, it gives you the opportunity to erase the message after the fact as long as the message was never read by the other person receiving the message? Lots of questions still.

I was hoping for better recognition of Bluetooth speakers vs. headphones. I hate the volume notification of “headphones are too loud” when I’m using a Bluetooth speaker.
