Great run-through, much better and on-point than suffering through the monotony of Apple’s blah BLAH blah live stream. I’m a bit over IOS and Android and how cluttered and busy and noisy both have become, I usually have all the bleeping, blooping and buzzing turned off (ie set to DnD) and as much as this upsets everyone (family, friends, co-workers, robo-callers, etc), peace and quiet is highly underrated. Maybe this improves my current ‘WTF, Clear All!!! Disable Notification!!! instinctual response to the constant deluge of BS. Needless to say,I couldn’t care less about CarPlay and WatchOS (less screens, not more plz). Hopefully Apple is able to include the new iPadOS and MacOS features with the .0 release rather than delaying them for a later point release. I’m still using Intel Macs, but the new Air may be a worthy first AS Mac to replace my ‘around the house’ 2017 MacBook Air. With two young children running around the house, MagSafe is an absolute laptop-saver. Hopefully the M2 Mac Mini (replacing the i5 and i7 SKUs) is a fast follow.

Let me tell you, I’m very tempted to sell my 2011 MacBook Pro and my HP laptop just to buy the new MacBook Air. It just looks like it’s going to be one of the best laptops (if not the best) at its price range like it has been in the past. Also, I’ve wanted something to play Minecraft on better than that HP, like a desktop but I’ve also kind of wanted a laptop for that as well, and that Air is slightly cheaper than the PC that I’ve wanted to buy. Maybe I’ll wait until the comparisons come out and I make a final decision.

Having used both android auto and carplay i have to say Android auto is far more superior and usable than carplay imo. A lot of car infotainment systems are built on Android platforms or similar and for some reason the Android auto always seems to behave better with those systems.
