I believe the live text copy in videos is one of their final steps before releasing Apple Glasses. This is the sort of thing it needs to realllllly be useful. Real time scanning/copying as you look. Live translation too, being able to reach out and “select” text fields and have it read to you in your language. Not to mention how useful these will be for the blind….

For apple to make a car, it seems easier on paper but in reality I think, it’s a harder Market, especially since Teslas #1 when it comes to electric, and slowly other manufacturers are climbing that mountain. I’m not saying it’s not possible, but it’s definitely gonna be a different beast for them to conquer.

They’ve let down so much the 13″ MacBook Pro that not only keeps the same look as the old version, but also the specs including the FaceTime cam of 720p compared to the 1080p of the new MacBook Air. The real Pro now starts at 14″ and more than 2K bucks. That’s a shame on Apple.

Really hope they improve battery life for iPhones. Two thoughts come to mind overall. I like the whole large car play screens because I know at least Stellantis was planning on doing a subscription based set up for their Uconnect and I’m not cool with that. Second I’d love a designated CarPlay unit with built in AirTag tech.

I’m on the Dev beta right now and since it’s just the first beta and I have an 8 plus, I don’t have most of the features. At least the lock screen widgets are cool.

The OCR in videos works amazing, it only works in the Photo’s app and for videos in safari (youtube works) for me right now, so I assume it needs an API.
