i’m really glad you pointed out for us simpletons where the M2 fits in the hierarchy—as well as the things we’d be giving up for it, like fast charging—I bought a custom MacBookPro last year with an M1 Pro chip, 32GB memory and 2TB storage, and every time they drop something like this I wonder “is my new toy already outpaced?” lol

I just switched over to iOS from Android literally a week ago. The lack of customization is something I did not expect. I want to set custom ringtones and actually place things on the home screen where ever I want.

I’m very interested about how that M2 chip really stacks up to the other M1 variants. Also it’s nice to see iPad get a little love but that device will never be fully realized I think. It would instantly canibalize some of their laptop line.

Call me craazy but I think with M2 playing World Of Warcraft or any casual game at 60 fps seems totally okay with this new Macbook air ?

3:27 could you please talk about how the iMessage features work with people who won’t be able to get iOS 16 (aka iPhone 7 and lower) ? like how they show (or don’t) on both ends etc. Thanks! 🙂

As a mostly Android user that upgrades to iPhone probably every 3 years and is on one now,the lock screen features have been overdue for near a decade. So I’m very excited to see that 👍🏽👍🏽 but I don’t understand why through all these years Apple hasn’t thought of a way to customize the home screen that’s Apple esque. It doesn’t have to be like Android,but with all the minds put together,all the money,resources. I feel like they could do something aside from widgets. Some color themes? Apple designed icon packs? Something? Some more keyboard features? I mean jeez.

I was hoping for a new Mac mini to replace my mid-2011 mini, which died about two weeks ago. Rather than buy the 2020 model Mac mini, I will use my PC laptop, which I purchased for limited purposes, until Apple releases a new mini.
