I’m so old school with my phones, the mini is everything I need in a phone. Light social media (FB, Twitter), music, camera, light web browsing and googling things. That’s it. Alarm clock also. I mean, I have access to so many devices that I don’t need a big phone for things. All my media consumption is done on my iPad. The heavier tasks are done on my Lenovo yoga 2N1. Don’t need anything else. Get the mini if you are light user, and have other devices at your reach, you won’t regret it.

I want it since few months.
It’s the smallest flagship and the overall the best compact phone.
I never had an iphone cause for years Apple phones lacked a huge amount of features but it’s getting closer and closer with android since iOS 14 and I started to like it.

I’m tired of huge phones (above 6 inches) and forgot how comfy it was to use and hold on one hand use without the pinky under the chin or stretch the hand to get on the left corners.

I looked also at the S22 or zenfone 8, Samsung does decent photos and Asus has only useful stuff (S888, 3.5 Jack, 4OOO mah and no crapy macro lens)
The S22 in my country has exynoss chips so it’s a big red flag since few years their chips are litteraly one generation late.
Unfortunately Zenfone 8 has kinda a boring design and the battery drown is fast.

The 13 mini has a great feel on the hand, a small but solid battery with the A15 efficiency, no stutter when launching or leaving apps, the smoothest video recorder, in app social media camera runs way better than any other android phone and a GINORMOUS iOS support for at least 7 years compared to 3 years on most brands.
For long term use, the iphone 13 mini is the best choice, ofc changing the battery will be necessary like for any other phone.

I’m just waiting to find a great deal for it.

With the iPhone SE 2022 (3rd gen) being offered for as little as $329 (yes, *$329* on the US-based MVNO called ‘Visible’) I see no reason to buy the 13 mini. The SE 3 offers 5G(sub6), Deep Fusion, Smart HDR4, Neural Engine, Touch-ID, decent battery life, decent cameras, etc.
If I can only pay *1/2* of what the 13 mini currently costs, I’m going with the SE 3 without hesitation. It’s a *fantastic* value for money!
Like buying a Ferrari for the price of a Chevy Geo!

I just wish Apple could continue it but they can’t because it’s a small phone and all the powerful new components would cause it to break. I honestly don’t understand why they couldn’t just make an iPhone 14 Mini but a little bigger. This is a really great phone!
