Still using my 2017 pro 16gb ram
Hey. New supporter. I use my IPhone for videos and I’m so over having to upload them to google and then download to my windows laptop. I would love to be able to get into the Mac system. Maybe I will soon. I enjoyed the video. Thanks
Actually, the 2011 Macbook Pro natively supports High Sierra. I installed it on an SSD on my 2010 MBP.

Base MBP 13″ 2017
no your gpu will fail
i have a mid 2012 macbook, if u throw an SSD in it works literally perfect, i’ve used bootcamp to run some lightweight games aswell, it’s insane how capable it is in 2020…
1:26 please dont tell me you type like that
The latest compatible update is High Sierra (13), not Sierra(12). There are no machines that can run Sierra but not High Sierra.
2012 here, it failed me on delete key but I swapped it with useless eject key n it still rocks.. I’ll miss ports if a day I’ll upgrade but so far it still so worth it..
I’m a graphic designer and I use a 2015 MBP (getting a 2020 16″ tomorrow!) and i have a 2011 13.5″ that I maxed out the ram and put an SSD in, well I wasn’t using it and handed it down to my bf who used it in college to become a data scientist, he just graduated and he loves it, uses it every single day on github and using all these crazy utilities that i didn’t even know existed, and he says it’s easier on a mac and it runs great. so yeah i’d say it held up great.
I have a 2017 MacBook Pro(broken ssd). Where should I sell it?
My mother is still using her’s.
I still using my MBP late 2013 with OS Catalina and it run smoothly ! I’ve never have major problem with it . I use the MBP for anything ; office work, drawing , internet surving and occasionally light editing video clip. I also have and iPad pro 1st gen (10.5″), I use these 2 together via iCloud and Airdrop. The only downside is that my MBP doesn’t have the support for Sidecar. That’s the only reason I consider to buy the new one.
… the 2011 MacBook Pro had a butterfly keyboard?
I’ve got a 2016 one with tb and I hope it will last as long as this one in the video😃
I’m Lightrooming with this machine to this day. It is fast and reliable. BUT I’d suggest everybody to deactivate the dedicated graphics card (if it’s an AMD Radeon) since those are dying on a regular basis. (And get more RAM and a SSD of course!)
Still using MacBook Air 11” 2011

If goy a 2012 model MacBook Air. Still going strong.
