I have same to same MacBook Pro 2011 and 16gb ram 500ssd with version Catalina 😍
I have. 2011 MacBook Pro and I did install more ram 8gig and a 512 SSD and this computer is still working for my needs like a charm.
4:13 butterfly keyboard? :p
I miss the glowing Apple
Consider you very lucky. Most MacBook Pro are full hardware problems.
I’m watching this on my mid-2010 MacBook Pro. I have an older 2008 MBP as well that’s used regularly. I did upgrade both laptops with SSD’s early on in their respective lives along with maxing out the memory. I have an old black MacBook as well. Still works but don’t use it. My main machine is a 2015 iMac 5K. All of them work very well regardless of age. Nice to know I’m not alone making use of “older” but not done Macs.
can u send me a iphone 11 lol i broke my iphone 5 last week 🙁 lol
How is it this fast?! My 2013 is a constant spinning beach ball!
I am keeping alive a 17″ Macbook Pro class of 2008. It works beautifully for a friend who is now using it, but I wonder what will happen if its operating system, El Capitan, passes away. Mac doesn’t deal with old operating systems, I am given to understand. Is it possible to make a copy of the operating system and if so, how? You also spoke of partial updating possibilities, but made such an intervention sound ambitious and expensive. Perhaps I’ll find a solution here in Rome, but I would appreciate your wisdom on the subject. (My friend doesn’t need ambitious programs).
I have the same MacBook (Early 2011, 2,3GHz, 8GB RAM and an 250GB Samsung SSD and patched Catalina and i can say that this thing is still a beast in 2020.
most older windows laptops will run decently if you replace the HDD with an SSD as well. my dad’s 2010 HP laptop was slow as hell, but after upgrading the RAM from single channel 3GB to dual channel 8GB, changing the boot drive to a 500GB SATA SSD, and a fresh install of Windows 10, it’s still very useable for normal use.
I’m using the 2009 MacBook which has been discontinued & still performs well.
mac os high sierra was the last os for the macbook 2011
I use the early 2011 13″ macbook pro too, and its running on Mojave just perfect. I even feel it is faster than it was with high sierra. Dosdude rocks!
Hey Brandon.. Can i install PS and AI 2019 version on it? Im looking to buy a 2011 MacBook pro
I still use this one!
Mine is a 2011 15 inch i7 version. 12gb ram and dual hard drive, even video editing is fine at 1080p.
Got one, it works beautifully
I have a 2011 MacBook Pro 15” and it runs high Sierra compatible from Apple.
Just got one and love it 😊
