Im Going to buy one of these with my bday money this year becasue its a MacBook with a dvd drive so I don’t have to but the films I have already xd xd thx for the review and its just for travelling with my family and p-reparing for college in a couple of years thx man
I just got my 2011 Mac book pro about 6 months ago for school . I didn’t want to buy a new computer which is kinda what I was charged anyway to fix it heck it’s still not fully fixed. But the 2011 Mac book pro had a good track record and works just fine for small things. Only problem I have is some things just aren’t compatible with Mac. And well you can’t game at all.
I’m about to start college and need a school laptop. Will a Mid-2011 Macbook Air be ok for me starting out?
Just cleaned mine up to use as a dedicated Ableton 9 music laptop. I upgraded RAM and HD years ago when the “hybrid drives” were popular lol. Considering what I use it for, if anything should happen, I’ve got time machine on a backup and I guess it would be getting its third HD! Here’s to another decade?
i have the same exact laptop with an ssd its the best
Own one…right now I am installing 16GB RAM and a 2TB SSD! Currently cloning the drive and watching your vid! Thanks for sharing! BTW a Speck clear shell case from day one, November 2011, not a mark on my Early 2011 MBP 13/2TB SSD/16 GB RAM/2.3/i5
Thanks for this video bro ❤️❤️
After watching your video, it really makes me feel excited! I’ve Got a macbook pro 15 2011 early version with a CPU of i7 2720mq and GPU of AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB. I kept thinking of throw this computer away because it was really old. while I got a question, are those resistors, capacitors and inductors inside this macbook pro still stable after such a long time using? I sometimes worried about my macbook pro suddenly died down because of a burned resistor or capacitor….
also still have my 1st gen ipad that will not update past ios5 lol
I am getting a Macbook pro A1278, i7, 16gb RAM and 1tb HDD, 128gb SSD of 2012 @480dollars….I want to edit 4k videos and use VMs. should i bargain or take it?
Just retired my Mid-2011 13″ Pro for the 2020 13″ Pro with 16GB ram. It served me well throughout college and the following years. It itself still boots up and runs. However, it wouldn’t charge. I do believe it was the charger and not the computer itself, but I decided to purchase a new one. Fans would run just using Chrome. I love it my new toy!
It’s also fine for Logic Pro as well
the good thing about older MacBooks in general is that they aren’t cooled by a crappy fan covered by a fricking battery and they actually have space to cool off
Just bought a 2009 17 inch for $200
Mine is so slow right now, i changed to 10gb ram and changed also to SSD but I get frustrated quickly using the adobe suite. I don’t know what to do
I am still using 2011 13 inch display macbook pro in 2020. I am writing this comment on it right now! My mom bought me the laptop 8 years ago and its still a great laptop.
I have a macbook pro late 2011 and it lags really bad it takes 20sec to open the any applications and clicking on anything. I guess the only way to continue using this is to upgrade it.
i have newly buyed mac 2011 late 4gb awesome but camera is glitch
i use MacBook pro 2011,same like you, but i can upgrade system to high sierra
Should i pay 300 for one or not?
