Does anyone know if there is a successful procedure to use an EXTERNAL DVD drive to install Windows 10 on an unsupported MacBook Pro?

and there are people selling the 17 inch 2011 models for close to 450-500 dollars just because it is the last 17 inch.
How to make its battery last longer.
i still use my 2011 macbook pro 12”
Dude I still use a laptop older than this thing for my daily driver, Dell Latitude E6510 with a 1st Gen Intel for the win
What about Late 2011 ? Is it worth it ?
@Brandon Butch I literally just got my Macbook Pro 2011 early edition today 6/24/2020. It still has the original Lion 10.7.5 os. If I were to stay with that OS with the same 4GB of ram it has, what video, photo, and audio editing software are good enough to use on it? Any ideas?
Lol I’m still using a mid 2009 MacBook work well for me what I usually do is web browsing, light video editing, web development and photo editing
8gb ram
Sad upgrade
Love apple
Should I get one
My mid 2011 came with 8 gigs of ddr2 ram and supported up to high Sierra.
I was scared i cannot find this video in 2020. Thanks very useful
This Mac can actually run up to High Sierra.
I’m using MacBook Pro 13-inch late 2011. This is amazing. The battery life is good. Still pretty fast.
im looking at this on my Mac 2011 lol
Macbook pro 2011 15 inch, i7 2.0 ghz, 8 ram, intel 3000 512 mb, 500 gb for 400 dollars… good buy?
I still have my 2011 early MacBook Pro. I hear a lot of people here replacing the hard drives and stuff but I haven’t had to do anything to it at all. It runs like a freaking tank. The battery is a little bad but still I get 3-4 hours of life out of it before I need to charge it
I have n early 2011 17″MBP, 2.2 Intel I7, 1GB internal SSD, running Sierra, love this thing. Just returned a brand new 2020 fully loaded 16″MBP as the fan noise was simply too loud. Am considering upgrading to High Sierra, am noticing I want more current software, I edit video and mix protools on the fly when I cannot be in the studio. Any thoughts or suggestions? Love the size of the screen and reliability and do not think the 2020 MBP is worth $5k. Thoughts?
someone is selling me one for $200 should I buy it?
