I have a 2014 air and I just can’t justify upgrading I’ve put my laptop through hell I’ve soaked it riding to school in the rain I’ve fallen off my bike and smashed my backpack into the ground and I’ve dropped it more times than I can count on two hands, And the thing is still going strong and it doesn’t look in that bad if a shape. It has some small issues and hiccups every now and then but it doesn’t bother me id love to get a new laptop but this one does me fine for now and if the battery goes I can just replace it at home so unless it literally blows up I don’t think I will upgrade, but saying that a fingerprint censor would be nice. Fantastic review thanks.

PSA – Adobe Lightroom classic will overload all available ram on any M1 Mac device (regardless of 16 or 8gb) and swap HUNDREDS of GB to hard drive memory in under an hour just simply having the app open and not doing anything. This is a major memory leak issue that Adobe refuses to acknowledge, as they say that “it isn’t optimized for m1 yet and the performance is a product of Rosetta”. BUT the same problem happens EVEN WORSE with Lightroom CC which IS optimized for M1 and might not even have local files being stored.
