Definitely one of the more professional and informative videos I’ve come across so far! Thanks for this! My MacBook Pro (late 2011) has been crapping out on me for a while, but was reluctant to buy another MacBook. Finally looking into the air m1, and it seems appealing for what I need (basic daily usage)!

I’m a Linux (more Unix) person but wow, Apple seems to be doing a great job on these machines. I’m interested, saving up up for one, probably just the base Air considering how much more the Pro is for very little performance gain.
Gonna use it for when I go into school this fall!

Question: what is the make and model of your laptop bag shown on this video (it looks awesome, I’ve been eying the Bellroy backpacks but can’t seem to get past the checkout process. Q2: which protective case do you recommend for travelling. Next, a bit of venting. I purchased the mid-2017 MacBook Pro 13 in. no touch bar and last week the screen began to malfunction *it’s completely black now. My Apple Care conveniently expired 6 mo. ago. and of course all Apple resources sprinted away. This time around I bought and I am still waiting for the Air M1 to come in (on the plus side, I am getting a whopping $140 trade-in value for my $1250 investment) that’s what I call ROI thx Apple Luv ya. This M1 must be good. Great Video Jimmy.

My personal experience with the M1 air after a month – it’s my daily driver now.
And my 16 inch i9 version has been put into the cabinet for very special workflows.

I’m in between a new air with the M1 and the pro with the M1. Currently using an air about three years old. My main concern is the fan in the cooling. My current air connected to an external monitor tends to get really bogged down when I have multiple safari windows open and outlook. Not sure if getting 16 gigs of RAM versus eight will help the situation or just go for the pro. I’m hearing the pro with the fan will probably be better for the isusss I’m having. So basically do I get the air with the 16 gig or get the pro with the eight

Hi, my macbook M1’s battery lasts exactly 4 hours when continuously doing office work (browsing the internet + word + pdf,…) and zooming ( I’m the host). Has anybody experienced this kind of battery level.

I just realized, looking at my closed MBA head on, that it appears slightly curved. That is, the line formed between the closed top lid and the bottom case isn’t straight, but very slightly “U” shaped. I guess that’s normal?

Long term review after just two months?? I know earth’s rotation is speeding up but damn i always thought long term would be a least 2-3 years. My 16” mb pro died after 8 months or normal use so my short term review is that apple products suck but some of their software like Final cut and Logic pro x is really good .

Love my new MBA. A great machine. Battery life is amazing. Excellent keyboard. My old MBA was 10 yrs old so why wouldn’t I love my new MBA?
