great review, thanks. I wonder if anyone can help answer this: I have an audio interface, a zoom recorder, an android phone and an external hardrive, will these work when I plug them in with the USB cable, or will I need an adapter? I’ve no idea what USB cable I’m using now, but the newest thing is the android phone, the other devices are about 6 years old.

do you find with the new larger trackpads, if you click the left and right edges of the trackpad they will sometime not click?

Great review! Even though I don’t understand much about tech, you somehow managed to review this in a way that I could understand. I’ve been going back and forth about buying my first MacBook or just a cheaper brand laptop. Definitely gonna go for the MacBook.

It seems that the issues you brought up might more have to do with firmware and software than hardware and can be fixed with some updates. Also, consider the Rosetta translation as a root for some problems?

I don’t understand what kind of reviews you guys give about a laptop that was mainly made for software. Excuse my language but you didn’t even cover basics. Did this ARM arch cover any software apps like IDes, docker, database, virtualizations, CLI fr clouds. Wtf does it do?🙏

Hello Jimmy, I’ve had problems as well with the mouse pad freezing as well, I’m so glad you mentioned that. This is also my first time buying any MacBook ever. You mentioned that it will improve, does apple also do updates on software bugs? because I was going to return it and switch it for the same version because I assumed that it was a factory error in this specific laptop.
