I assume the evil granny game must be European (or from some place that uses the European system), since to my knowledge they generally call what we would call the first floor the ground floor and then the one above it is the first floor and so on. So more of a regional difference than a mistake in directions… but like they should have accounted for that when selling the app to American audiences lol so it’s still technically a game flaw.
