I think the granny game was translated from a language like Spanish, since in Spanish the “first” floor is called the ground floor (planta baja) and then the “second” floor is the first floor, and then it continues from there.

10:00 that’s actually not a mistake, in the uk we call the floor that’s on the ground, the ‘ground floor’ and the first floor that’s off the ground ‘the first floor’
