Well, in british english instead of the floors going 1st floor, 2nd floor 3rd floor ect, it goes ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor.

Maybe the programmer of the granny game was german.. Because in germany the 1st floor is called Erdgeschoss (ground floor) and then we count upwarts, so the 1st floor in german is the 2nd floor in english… Idk if thats the case in any other languages. I think its not a mistake of the game, but just a language barrier

10:10 in danish for example. we say stueetage, which roughly translates to living room floor. and we call the floor above, first floor, and so on. So maybe the developers are just from another country.

The boyfriend chat thing, I’m pretty sure the reason it said “hey kevin” to you is because it’s basically the same as Cleverbot. Cleverbot doesn’t imitate natural human speech, it directly copies it. It uses what you say to try to find something someone *else* said to *Cleverbot*, and so while the responses are frequently not fully in context, they always come off more naturally because they’re made with human speech patterns since everything was typed by a human at some point.
I think this AI is doing something similar, just gathering human responses and using them to appear more believable. That would also be why it limits to 4 messages, because over 2-3 responses this method is extremely convincing and very close to human, but over multiple responses you can really start to see that the bot begins changing how it communicates. Sometimes it uses lots and lots of shorthand (u not you, i not I, thru not through, msg not message, etc), sometimes it uses lots of slang, and that slang can vary wildly, and sometimes it speaks like an English professor.
