About the first floor second floor and main/ground floor first floor- as a european, this is how i assumed it was everywhere, but i suppose it isn’t-

For clarity’s sake; main/ground floor is just what the ground floor is called, the first floor above the ground floor, after the first stairs you’ve climbed, is thus called the first floor, the floor above that is the second floor, and so on. Perhaps this is strange if you’re not used to it, and i also remember being confused by this as a child, but that’s simply how it is here.

edit: in an elevator, ground floor will be referred to as 0, first floor as 1, and floors underground as -1, -2 and so on

For the floor thing, a lot of countries (probs the one the dev was in) dont have the first floor as the ground floor. For us it’s ground floor, then first floor, and onwards. Sorry you had to find out belatedly 😂
