I didn’t know about the BetterHelp controversy, that so many people had terrible experiences, that the ‘therapists’ aren’t properly vetted, that HIPPA doesn’t apply and there’s a shit ton more problems with the company. The comments are mixed between people saying he might not have known about it and people saying it’s his responsibility to know about it. Honestly I’m more on the side of that it’s his responsibility to do research into companies he accepts money from, a quick google search isn’t too much to ask. But I also found that he responded to a tweet about BetterHelp’s incorrect spelling in their contract in 2018 with “someone betterhelp them next time”. One of those segments with spelling issues said “Any reliance on such information is done at your full and sole risk and liability” another one saying “You should disregard any such advice if delivered through the platform”. Both clips seem suspiciously worded and not like something I would want to sign or that I would encourage other people to sign. Obviously the suspiciously worded contract content isn’t the point of the tweet, it’s individually misspelled words and his response was a joke about that. And I know it’s not on him to remember a joking tweet he sent in 2018 it’s just frustrating that he mentioned the company previously and that this all could have been avoided if he did a minute of research into the endorsement. Know where your money is coming from and don’t endorse companies that could damage someone’s mental health.

Ground floor and then first floor is common in the U.K. and a lot of other places, rather than first then second. Both ways make sense when you know about them. Ground floor is self explanatory, and first floor being above that means the numbering system started after the ground floor.

Kinda in the same vein of American buildings omitting floor 13.

In the uk the “second floor” is called the first floor and the “first floor” is called the ground floor. So it’s not that weird.

In the UK, the American first floor is the ground floor, then upstairs is the first floor. Like the ground floor/main floor is floor 0 basically
