The capital of Maine is Augusta. The largest city in Maine by volume is Ellsworth, and the largest by population is Portland. The largest lake in Maine is not even Lake Champlain, it’s Moosehead Lake. Lake Champlain isn’t even a lake in Maine it’s in Vermont, and it’s not even the largest lake there either

As someone from Maine, I can confirm Lake Champlain is not the capital of Maine. Nor is it the largest lake. In fact, its not even a lake in Maine to begin with.
