In Europe the first floor is what you would call the second floor. There even are some older buildings, where there is a “Parterre” (1st floor) “Mezzanin” (2nd floor) and than 1st floor (3rd floor) 😀

9:53 Fun fact: In brittish english there’s actually something called a ground floor (or ig main floor in this game) which is basically the equivalent of the 1st floor in american english

In Britain we call the first floor the ground floor and the second floor the first floor. It’s very confusing but that might be why the floors are called that in Angry Grandma.
