I have had a horrible experience with Better Help firsthand and I didn’t even know about the controversy surrounding the company. In Poland, we call the ground floor the 0 floor, and the one above it the 1st floor. So maybe it’s also this way in some other countries, and maybe the granny game comes from one of these countries. It may not be a silly mistake

The ‘main floor and first floor’ thing is not that weird. You’re clearly American so I wouldn’t expect you to know this but where I am, Australia, and in much of the world that’s how floors are named. What you call floor 1 we call floor 0, and what you would call floor 2 we call floor 1.

Main floor and first floor in the Dutch language is always used as main floor (1st) and first floor (2nd). Idk about the English language, but i think it’s right lol.
