I know it’s dumb, but as an architect it actually makes sense why the second floor is called the first floor. Although, it makes absolutely no fucking sense why the ground floor is the main floor. In Australia, at least, the level you enter at is always the ground floor and the next floor above that will always be the first floor. I know this is different in the US, so possibly this game was developed outside of the US

idk where this game is from but in French class I learned that in France they call the first floor the main floor and the second floor is the first floor.
