Oh Danny, I hope you don’t get a ton of people coming at you by letting betterhelp sponsor you. I guess everyone is dropping betterhekp because of a lot of negative feedback about them, therapists misdiagnosing people, giving them drugs, but then not being able to reach the same therapist the next month, so then they aren’t able to G3’s another script sometimes and end people end up withdrawing from serotonin or other drugs. As well as a BUNCH of other issues. A lot of the ones I heard were not being able to get ahold of their previous care giver, or being forced into paying for more sessions ahead of time, before they allow you to talk to your practitioner again. It all just seems really sketchy!

Even Phillip Defranco was being borderline cancelled and had to prove that he stopped partnering with them even though they had offered him a small fortune to continue being their sponsor!

Vouch for other Gregs speaking out against Better Help. They are without the careful legal restrictions of an actual registered therapist and can therefore share your information (not bound by medical privacy). They also don’t have professional trauma therapists despite pretending that they do. It’s really dark. I hope Danny sees these comments and reconsiders this sponsorship, so that he doesn’t encourage young, unaware, or otherwise vulnerable fans to use this sketchy app.
