Oh my god, enough about better help. I went into the comment section looking for a comment about the cute dog that ran up to Danny, his awkward reaction as if he’d never seen a dog before, and then the confusing scream that followed. I rewatched it so many times trying to make sense of it 😂

i think there might be some confusion for the floors in the first game because in the USA the first floor is usually the floor that is on street level, but in Europe (at least where i live) the first floor is actually the floor at the top of the first stairs and the floor at street level is litterally called the “floor at street level” or “main floo” like in the game

Main floor should really be ground floor but in the UK we call the 1st floor the ground floor the 2nd floor the 1st floor. Not saying it’s right but I’m not sure if poeple know that we do that here outside the UK

The main floor / first floor difference is just a regional thing.
In the USA the floor you walk in on is the first floor, and the one above is the second floor.
In Europe, the floor you walk in on is the main floor or ground floor, and the one above is the first floor.

i can’t speak to anywhere else, but in most countries in europe the ground floor is the main floor and the floor above that is the first floor
